If you really want to know what a care home is like the best people to ask are the residents themselves and their families.
Here are a few of the lovely comments and cards we regularly receive from the families of our wonderful residents.
I am writing to say what a loving and caring member of staff you have.
Yesterday, I was visiting Bridlington for the day with my husband and we had the pleasure of meeting one of your staff, Linda Squire, who was helping a resident with her lunch. She showed a loving and caring attitude over and beyond what I would expect and she was genuinely attentive to her companion, Joan I think they called her, making sure that she was enjoying herself. I was so impressed and said that I hoped that when I get older, someone like Linda would take care of me. Will you please pass on my comments to her as in today's ageing population a thoughtful carer is so important.
Yours faithfully,
Valerie Dyson, Rotherham
Thank you for making my mother's stay at Bridlington lodge enjoyable and for fitting us in at short notice. I was very impressed by the high quality care my mother received and the friendly atmosphere.
Yours faithfully,
